Aqua Trails Kayaking at the Cape May Nature Center

     Get ready for close encounters with nesting Ospreys, herons, egrets, and assorted crabs. Explore Cape May County’s most beautiful and untouched salt marsh via sit-on-top kayaks—no experience necessary! Conducted by Aqua Trail Kayaks (609-884-5600).

Summer is the perfect time to try an unforgettable kayaking experience on the quite waters and salt marshes around Cape May.

       Book daily Tours through September from its new home at the Nature Center of Cape May on the shores of Cape May Harbor.

      Tidal Marsh Tours are offered every Tuesday and Saturday evening (call for times), and three nights of Full Moon Kayak Tours coincide with the full moon each month. These evening sojourns into the heart of Cape May's majestic salt-marsh wetlands are adventures simply not to be missed. Participants will experience the glory of the setting sun or rising full moon against the peaceful backdrop of the wildlife-rich salt marsh. Birds such as osprey, willets, and the black crowned night heron are in abundance.

The Nature Center of Cape May is open daily, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., throughout the summer with free admission and plenty of free parking.
